Elbow Themed Goodness

What kind of people would work with both Elbow, and Girls Aloud? Soup collective, that's who.

It's a very pretty site, and just makes me want the new Elbow album even more. You can find some lyrics for it here and an mp3 of the title track here. Beautiful stuff.

It's summer, they'll probably be back

Look at the lovely cartoon of The Polyphonic Spree. Lovely.
And I've also decided that Amazon's 'people who bought this, also bought this' is bullshit crap. If I've just bought Ok Computer, it would tell me to buy Coldplay or Muse. that's stupid. Why would you want to replecate someone else's CD collection? Why not have 'people who bought this album never bought this album' and then if you buy Radiohead they tell you to buy some electro clash or whatever. So there amazon, fuck you, and this is now way even slightly bitter because I can't afford to buy stuff off it. No way.

Hey There

Check out this great EELS accoustic set, along with Mr E being interviewed by a moron.

There was also an interview on another radio station, indie 103.1 with everybody's favourite washed up punk star, Steve Jones. Alas, it's not around for the downloading. There are, however, some lovely mp3s from indie 103.1 here. I like Be Bop A Lula, and Ben Lee playing Float On.

Health Warning

Some of our readers may have noticed that Jamiroquai have returned, and may be considering purchasing their new material. However, you may also have forgotten that Jay Kay is a twat.

We're here to remind you.

Build Your Own Facist Supporter

Cute, the CIA has a kids site. Oddly, I can find the bit about the pigeon but not the bit about supporting facists killing their own people... link would be nice.

How very alternative

Reading through old HM newsletters and this beauty appeared. Which I think is a beautiful and pure expression of a desire to go back to a time before money. So there.
And mine and ric's t-shirts are gonna blow thee away with class.
