What the fuck?

The most ironic cover written

This is probably one of the most hideous covers ever, so it deserves a step-by-step slating:

It starts off when one member of the band finds Duran Duran's old synth kit, and the bassist isn't quite sure what fills he's meant to be playing. William Shatner tries to repeat the words in a mock jazz style. This goes on for a bit while the keyboardist messes about with some hammond sounds he's found. To try and save the chorus they've stolen a drunk east Londoner to sing it, and to show there is someone from England there. The guitar solo gets halfway through before ending on tacky rock and roll distortion, a note only audible to a few unlucky bats. At this point, the cockney passes out, and St.Winnefreds public school choir join in. The hired singer gets up again, and after contemplating singing parklife, fights with the producer trying to drown Kirk out. It finishes with some hideously peadophilic notion of public school kids sleeping with common people, probably the school caretaker.

  • yeah, that sucked...William, what have you done?

(do you guys get much country music over there? I absolutely love the Brad Paisley video with William Shatner in it...)

  • Most country music attempting to enter the country is chased out and set on fire by a team of highly trained people with dungarees and pitchforks.

    Except Gomez, but they're special.
